Save this session?

Untitled Recording Session

Each participant decides for their own device. Save the open audio and mixer settings, or delete this session’s local copy before leaving.

Only the current session’s saved local copy is deleted—not other saved sessions or your original imported files. Reloading, browser Back, or closing a tab uses the browser’s standard warning; choose Stay there to save or delete from this screen first.

VOCAL INPUT

ARM & RECORD

Shared-clock recording and session playback. No global 642 ms shift. Calibrate in a quiet room by placing a wired earbud or speaker near the selected microphone; do not wear the earbud during the five-click test. Calibration measures the physical output-to-input path and is saved on this browser for the selected input/output. Recalibrate after changing hardware or system audio routing. New takes only; existing track positions and original downloads stay unchanged. Individual file players play the complete original; use Play session for timeline-aligned review. Keep the page visible while recording; long sessions use device memory.

○ MICROPHONE OFF

Use headphones while recording so the instrumental does not bleed into the vocal file.

RECORD ANOTHER LAYER

The active tracks above play in your headphones while the microphone records a clean new track.

Headphones required: the new file contains only your microphone. Muted channels are not monitored, and Solo plays only the selected channel or channels.

Quick access to your recording studio on iPhone.

Add Studio to Home Screen

On iPhone, finish these steps in Safari. This button cannot add the icon automatically.

  1. Open dannydthebarber.com/recording in Safari.
  2. Tap Share (the square with the upward arrow). Depending on your layout, open the … menu first.
  3. Scroll down and choose Add to Home Screen. If it is missing, choose Edit Actions to find it.
  4. Name it DannyD Studio, then tap Add. If offered, enable Open as Web App for an app-style window.

Save and sync your work first. A Home Screen web app may have separate local storage. The shortcut opens the studio, not a private room; keep your full private invite link to reopen shared sessions. Adding an icon does not back up recordings or enable offline collaboration.
